The Solon City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, October 15, 2012, at 7:30 P.M. at Solon City Hall, 34200 Bainbridge Road, regarding the rezoning of PP#’s 954-29-027, 028, 029, 030, 031 and 032, consisting of approximately 2.5 acres located directly to the east of the Solon Village Shopping Center. The rezoning of these parcels from O-1 (General Office) to the C-3-A (Retail Shopping Center) was previously approved by the voters as part of a redevelopment plan for the former Solar Shopping Center. However, it has been determined by the Master Plan Committee that the conditions under which the rezoning was approved are no longer valid and the O-1 Zoning is the most logical transition between the commercial zoning to the west and the residential zoning to the east.
