[ARCHIVED] Aurora Road Emergency Repair East of Harper

Road Repair

The City's Emergency Road Repair Contractor, TriMor Corp, will be making an emergency road repair this week on Aurora Road just east of the Harper Road Intersection. The work will require two major phases of traffic maintenance. The work is necessary due to work performed for the Cleveland Water Department.

The first phase of traffic maintenance is being set up at 6:00 tonight (Monday).

The first phase of work is to repair road patches in the two eastbound lanes of Aurora Road just east of Harper Road. Two way traffic will be maintained in the remaining three lanes using one lane for east bound traffic, one lane for west bound traffic turning left onto southbound Harper and one lane for westbound through traffic and right turns onto northbound Harper. Phase one is expected to be completed in two days.

The second phase of work is to repair road patches in the two westbound through lanes on Aurora Road just east of Harper Road. Two way traffic will be maintained in the remaining three lanes similar to phase one. Phase two is expected to be completed in two days, weather permitting.

The traffic maintenance plan is expected to be changed from phase one to phase 2 on Wednesday night.

When both phase one and two are completed, the contractor will complete off road work (sidewalk and drive apron repairs using day zones. The contractor presently expects to complete this on Saturday of this week.
