[ARCHIVED] We are happy to announce the SSC is officially open – in your home, outdoors and inside!

Starting June 7th, select programs at the Solon Senior Center will be offered indoors. Throughout the summer and early fall, activities will be held outdoors unless weather does not permit or indoor facilities are required. Indoor activities are resuming in a phased-in approach with advancing capacity. Also starting this week, in addition to fitness classes, many of our socialization, learning and art programs have resumed in-person classes. For those who prefer, virtual options will continue for some classes.

Coffee and Conversation will be held on the SSC patio Monday-Thursday between 9:00 am & 11:00 am. While pre-registration is not required, we encourage members to register online or by phone to ensure enrollment space in the activity.

Members must enter through the main entrance of the SSC and check-in at the Welcome Center before participating in any activity. At this time, there will be no entry into the SSC from the inside shared door with Community Center. Plan to arrive no sooner than 10 minutes before your scheduled activity.

Face masks are required for those who do not show proof of being fully vaccinated or decline to show proof. Proof of vaccination can be shown at the Welcome Center. Once you have shown proof of being fully vaccinated, you may enter and participate without a face mask.

Please be mindful of any symptoms you may be feeling before arriving at the SSC. If you are not feeling well, have tested positive for COVID-19 without completion of your isolation period, or have been exposed to COIVD-19 in the past 14 days, you will not be able to participate in activities. The SSC has made many modifications to the facility to harbor a safe, healthy and engaging environment.

We look forward to seeing everyone soon. If you have any questions or need anything please contact the SSC at 440-349-6363.
