Seventy businesses are participating in the Solon Job Fair in the Park
SOLON, OH. May 9, 2022 – The City of Solon is partnering with the Solon Chamber of Commerce to host a job fair on Thursday, May 19, from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. The event will be at the Solon Community Park, located at 6679 SOM Center Road. If heavy rain is in the forecast, the job fair will be moved to the Solon Community Center. Seventy businesses are participating and there are over 1,000 jobs to fill.
“This is an incredible opportunity for jobseekers. Full-time positions from entry level to executive level are available. There are also part-time and summer positions available. The labor shortages have pushed up wages and good talent is in demand – if you need a job or are looking for a better opportunity, this job fair is the place to be,” said Angee Shaker, the City of Solon’s director of economic development.
Job seekers are encouraged to bring their resumes and be ready for potential on-the-spot interviews. “We’re hosting this job fair in response to the needs of the business community,” stated Tom Bennett, Solon Chamber President. “This event will help showcase the participating companies and connect good people to great job opportunities.”
